Clinic for Internal Medicine 3 – Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Medicine

The Clinic for Internal Medicine 3 – Haematology, Oncology and Palliative Medicine specialises in diseases of the blood (haematology) and cancer (Oncology). A wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are provided for these fields.

Together with the other departments at the Clinic for Internal Medicine, we also attend to patients with all types of acute and chronic diseases. As one of 22 specialist departments we are able to fall back on all the diagnosis and treatment procedures of a German maximum care hospital. The excellent range of equipment at Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst is extremely important for the care of cancer patients. It guarantees reliable diagnostics and is the basis for elaborate treatment methods, since effects and possible side-effects of treatments can be detected early on. The fact that all examinations and necessary surgical interventions can take place under one roof, guarantees the effective exchange of results between departments and therefore rapid diagnosis and treatment.
