Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics

The Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics is obligated to provide medical care for approx. 200,000 inhabitants in the west of Frankfurt.

The Clinic is concerned with the diagnostics and treatment of psychiatric and psychosomatic diseases and due to its affiliation to a Clinic with the highest level of medical care it is able to involve almost all other medical specializations during its procedures. Its community-based care concept ensures the greatest possible continuity of treatments.

The Clinic includes five in-patient treatment units with a total of 116 beds as well as a day clinic with 22 beds and an institutional out-patient unit. This means that the in-patient, day clinic and out-patient specialist psychiatric and psychotherapeutic acute and full-time care of adults can be continuously guaranteed.

The treatment teams consist of doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational and art therapists, social workers and kinesitherapists, who integrate various psychotherapeutic approaches into their collaborative work in addition to their basic clinical-psychiatric approach: depth psychology, analytical, behavior therapy and family dynamics.
